Happy Friday, y'all! I'm so excited to share with y'all a new brand I was introduced to: Pelechecoco. Besides the amazing name, this has to be one of the coolest clothing brands out there right now. Not only are all their products super chic, but they're all made out of

recycled leather!

How freaking cool is that!! I'm all for some good reused leather!

As I was browsing through their

, I found

amazing dress. It's such a cool take on the overall trend, while still being unique. I love the effortless yet edgy feel of it, especially paired with a black t-shirt and statement necklace.

Make sure to check out

to see more of their amazing items! They have a great selection of fringe pieces (a major trend on the runways this spring) like this

[I'm thinking a bold necklace, good pair of

skinny jeans

[festival ready with

denim shorts

crochet crop top

, and a braid].

Have a great weekend!

A big thank you to Pelechecoco for sending me this dress!

building a wardrobe: {the basics}

With every new year comes new resolutions. For some of you, those resolutions may be based on your wardrobe. I'm a big believer in actually

a wardrobe and not just acquiring random pieces, although that isn't always a bad thing! With that being said, I've decided to do a series this year for "Building a Wardrobe", focusing on a different part of the wardrobe each month. For example, this month is the basics, next month is workout essentials, and so on!

Basics (if you haven't noticed already) are my absolute favorite items to wear. They're so easy to throw on, and it's almost guaranteed to look classic and put together. I've picked what I consider the most essential basics: a white t-shirt, an everyday cross body bag, a long sleeve black shirt, a pair of dark wash jeans, a simple gold necklace, a black leather jacket, and an oversized cream sweater. All of these pieces can be mixed and matched to create an effortless, chic outfit. I just finished reading

How to be Parisian

and I think these pieces fit perfectly into the Parisian chic look.

On another note, I've been home sick all week with the chicken pox!:( I have no clue where that one came from, especially because I had the vaccine, but it's never a bad thing to watch everything royal on Netflix [I feel very well educated on Diana, Kate and Wills:) ]. The problem though, is that I was hoping to shoot one of my Valentines Day looks sometime this week or weekend, but that may be hard to do now! Worst case scenario, I can make it a collage, but hopefully I'll be able to show y'all the fit and details of everything! Stay tuned to see how that one turns out, lol!

I hope y'all have a fabulous weekend!
